     One of the reasons we built the "565 Hot Rod" engine was to fill the requirements of some local tracks whose rules restrict the use of Big Chief (Spreadport) style cylinder heads. In the process we have created a very powerful single four barrel engine that has the capability to "kick a lot of Big Chief butt!"

     This engine is a real "sleeper"! A lot of your "Big Chief" headed competitors will be quite surprised when you "blow them away" with this conventional headed motor! They won’t believe this is only a 565ci single four barrel engine!

     The all new "565 Hot Rod" engine from RMRE features anglemilled Dart 355 CNC Pro 1 cylinder heads with Manley titanium valves. The valve pocket angles in the RMRE custom 4.600" bore pistons have been machined to match the anglemilled cylinder heads. The engine is lubricated via a custom fabricated aluminum wet sump oil pan built in Moroso’s custom shop to RMRE specifications.

      Rated at 1,000 Hp and selling for under $18,000, this engine is a real bargain!
