Hi David,
I wanted to thank you for the performance and quality of the aluminum 665 you recently built Jenifer and me.
For the two previous years, we’ve tried to keep up (we define that as qualifying #8 in a 32 car field…we want lane choice for the first 2 rounds) with a pretty tough Division 4 Dragster field, as we simultaneously learn and grow with the sport. In retrospect, we probably ran with too tight a converter last year, and Jenifer’s reaction times struggled as I had to make near continuous changes to get the car to get up on the converter and leave hard. I’m not bad-mouthing the Reher 572, it’s just a little small for our relatively heavy 4 link dragster.
The 665 gave us the all motor power we needed to tame the starting line. Until we got this motor we had never broken a 1.00, 60 foot. Our old package weighed 2140, and with 200hp 1st stage and 150hp 2nd stage, our best pass was a 6.71 @ 200…and if you turned off the second stage the car was a 7.00 car.
Well the dragster now weighs 2,040. We are still playing with the new setup, but it appears to be a low 6.90’s to a high 6.80’s car on the motor…and on a 150hp shot of nitrous last weekend we ran a 6.56 ET after a .988, 60 foot. This gives me a lot of flexibility with qualifying and race set ups, and will help me give Jenifer the ability to go more rounds this year.
Thanks again. And please remember to pass my message to Mickey.

Hi David,
This is Scotty Richardson, and I was wanting to tell you, I have run a lot of different types of combinations from many different companies. I have to say, however, since I switched to your 565 ci, I’ve been so happy and impressed with the power and consistency your motor produces.
The help and service I received from the guys in the shop was great. I race a lot and I need to be able to count on getting parts when you say you’re going to send them. You all did that, and I had one of the best Florida series ever.
I can't say thank you enough for the opportunity to purchase a motor off the shelf, that runs so good. The motor ran 4.68 in the 1/8th and 7.30's in the 1/4 at 180 Mph, run after run, and that is what we all need. Thanks again!

Subject: World Class!
I race a '57 Chevy with one of your 555ci. Super Series engines. It was built in 2003 at your shop and I'm the second owner. It is so reliable and consistent. Just regular maintenance required, like changing the oil, and setting the rocker arms when needed. Amazing! For 900Hp it is world class at it's best. You'll be receiving more of my business in the future.
I race at Saskatchewan International Raceway (SIR) Division 6 at Saskatoon SK, located in central Canada on the prairies above North Dakota. I run in the Pro class with no electronics, running 9.50 at 141 Mph. I've talked with Johnny, at Reher Morrison, a few times back in Feb '09, and he helped me with some tech questions. I've also gotten help from Mark recently with parts. Very helpful! I'm glad to carry your banner and advertise your business up here in Canada at the drag races and car shows. Thank you for producing such a remarkable engine!

Our pulling season just ended...
Our pulling season just ended and I wanted to drop you a note telling you how pleased Stevie, Sue and I are with your engines.
We finished 1st, 2nd and 5th in Badger Truck Pullers and 1st in the PI Modified Division. Our results are particularly exciting when considering the competition mostly run much larger engines.
I have your banner hanging in my shop. It says Quality – Performance – Service. I agree with all three, especially Performance.
Again, thank you from the three of us.

Subject: Talk about performance!
“I have been a Reher-Morrison customer for years and am always pleased with the performance of my Reher-Morrison engines. At the 2009 NHRA Division 4 season opener at the Texas Motorplex April 3, I ran my first pass with my Reher-Morrison 798 engine (3 stage nitrous) in my brand new dragster. I ran a 6.078et at 225.82mph. That made me #1 qualifier by over 4 tenths. Talk about performance! I can’t wait to see how the rest of this race season goes. Thank you for always working hard to help me get the racing performance I want.”-Mike Kile
Subject: A thousand runs!
“I bought a Reher-Morrison 555 in ‘97 and had it until I sold in 2009. I bet a had a thousand runs on that engine, and I never missed a round from an engine problem. It was consistently a winner. I won 3 or 4 Wallys in Quick Eliminator, the Race of Champions at the Div. 4 Bracket Finals in ‘01, and track championships with it. I am impressed by Reher-Morrison quality and continue to run Reher-Morrison engines now.”

Good morning Don,
I just wanted to take a few minutes and say “THANK YOU” for all of the help with our 622. I have been an engine builder for a long time and over the last several years have preferred to use RM as my primary part source. When I came to you about a kit for the 622 I wanted to see for myself how this engine went together and if I was able to get the same numbers on the dyno as RM shows on their website.
I was able to purchase the unassembled 622 Complete Short Block and the 12 degree Raptor head plus a very nice sheetmetal intake. Using our dry sump, carburetors, balancer and ignition system I was able to assemble the engine without any trouble. The technicians at RM were more than helpful with all of my questions not to mention the RM engine book was priceless in the assembly process.
I have to say that this engine was almost too easy to put together with the amount of instruction that was given. And as far as the Dyno Results? The engine made 1283 HP, which is 3 more HP than you advertise. So to say that anyone could buy one of your kits and assemble the same HP as RM is indeed a possibility.
Thanks for spending the time helping us with our project as we look forward in doing more business with RM in the future. Special thanks to Don, Mickey, Johnny and Bruce for all the help putting this together. See you at the track.
Best Regards,
Wendell Dunaway

L & H Race Cars Piloted by Bobby Leonard “Reaps The Harvest” As The Pro Outlaw Doorslammers 2009 Champion
(9-14-09)
At the age of 62, Bobby Leonard, and team L & H Race Cars, overcomes adversity and a stellar field of competitors using perseverance and persistence to capture the 2009 Pro Outlaw Doorslammers points championship. Robert Hayes is quick to mention that their success for the 2009 season is the result of commissioning the “total package” - the supreme principals of horsepower, knowledge and skill. This would not be possible without wisdom, guidance and superior quality of Reher-Morrison Racing Engines, Hughes Performance, Speedtech, Sandy Wilkins Motorsports and Hoosier Tire
Reher-Morrison Racing Engines provided unmatched horsepower and reliability the entire season with the flawless performance of Speedtech delivering the juice. We knew the only way to harness the horsepower created by Reher-Morrison was to rely on the excellence of Hughes Performance. Their transmissions and torque convertors are indestructible.
We are also thankful that Reher-Morrison had the keen insight to empower Sandy Wilkins Motorsports for necessary time-restrictive engine/machine maintenance. His “around-the-clock” availability and attention to detail allowed us to meet deadlines that were unattainable.
I would also like to express my appreciation to Hoosier Tire. These tires will stick on any track in any weather condition. We watched other brands go up in smoke all season long – but not these guys.
All our principals have delivered service the entire year that is beyond commendable. Our total package concept with Bobby Leonard as the pilot is testimony that L & H Race Cars is a world-class operation driven by faith.
Patience, wisdom, and guidance from Reher-Morrison, Hughes Performance, Speedtech, Sandy Wilkins Motorsports, and Hoosier Tire continue to exemplify our passion for excellence. The power of our total package is phenomenal. The energy felt by team L & H would not be possible without these amazing supporters.
Once again, Bobby Leonard and Robert Hayes cannot thank them enough for the sincere family-oriented guidance, professionalism and commitment. This has allowed us to make a statement that our small family-owned race car design & fabrication shop is unmatched in its dedication to quality, speed and safety.

It is a little late but as promised I have an update on the 622 we purchased in the summer 08.
We followed the specs for headers, added oil and the recommended fuel and installed it in our 2420 pound '99 Monte Carlo. After a few launches and tire shake we calmed the car down and on the first full pass it ran a 7.22 @ 190.03. This was accomplished with only a 1.07 sixty foot so we are adding longer wheelie bars and moving the fuel cell up front to minimize the front end rise. These changes should help us get in the teens in good weather. Considering the weight and the powerglide trans, we have exceeded all our expectations.
Most of our correspondence has been with Wes but having managed an automotive machine shop I know there are many people responsible for the product. Thanks to all for the 622 and the frank answers to all the questions we asked.

David & Wes,
Enclosed are pictures of my two Reher-Morrison powered cars. The first is a 1963 Corvette that has a pump gas 540 with a tunnel ram and twin dominators. The motor idles at 1000 rpm and maintains 190 degrees. After cruising on Friday night,on Saturday it ran a 9.70 ET at 140 MPH. with no maintenance.
As a teenager I met you and Buddy and I said someday I would like to have an RM crate motor. I am now on my third and have nothing buyt praise fo rthe performance, reliability, and longevity of your motors. I race in the Midwest Gassers, Great Lakes Drag way based out of Union Grove, Wisconsin. some of my fellow racers now rely on RM motors for their cars.
Thank You,
Mark Pappas
We started drag boat racing in 1994 with SDBA Southern Drag Boat Association, and IHBA International Drag Boat Association.
We contacted Reher Morrison in 1999 after having numerous engine failures due to another engine builder. We spoke with Darin Morgan and he felt he could fix our problems, he gave us a quote and time frame which they lived up to both.
Since that time all of our engine modifications, assemblies, questions, are directed to Reher. The engines are completed in a Timely Manner and Top Quality Workman Ship.
The reliability of Reher Morrison’s engine’s has saved us a considerable amount of money, stress, time, and has allowed us to set numerous new ET records.

Re: David, Bruce, Mickey & all the guys at Reher-Morrison
As I sit here in my motorhome with a customer having a drink this evening and looking out through the pits at all the guys working on their race cars, It really makes me appreciate the great motors you guys put out. 70 passes on this motor this year and not one time have I had to set a valve or change a valve spring. How could a sportsman ask for anything more!!!
Hope the holidays were good to both of you.
First let me start by saying thanks for having a great product and the support your company provides.
I am happy to report this past weekend with the help of my Reher Morrison 540, I won the event at the Southern California Super Street Association race #2 in Fontana CA.! The Reher Morrison 540 ran strong consistent times during the eliminations. I actually ran a 10.900 in the semi's to reach the finals! The reliability of my R&M 540 gave me the confidence I needed to bring my 1964 El Camino to victory! My car was on target and I was fortunate to have great reaction times. My friend was at the finish line for one of my passes. He was very impressed with the power and how healthy the 540 sounded when it came off the throttle stop.
For the final round, I lost the coin toss and had to run in the left lane for the first time. I chose to leave the timer alone and just drive the other end as needed. The final round ended with me running a 10.892 to his 10.888 for the win!
Thanks again and I hope to email you in the future with more success stories.

UPDATE: Sent-Friday, May 21, 2010
Hey Jamie,
Hope things are going good! Just wanted to tell ya the RM 540 is going strong! So far this year we have went to two events. One was our So Cal Super Street Association race in May, I won that event! Then we entered the NHRA's, Jegs Pacific Sportsman Nationals. I went to the finals on Saturdays gambler race! I was runner up, can you believe the race came down to one thousand of a second! I should have hit the brake a tad sooner! On Sunday I red lighted with a -.001 in the second round, bummer.
Anyway, Just wanted keep posted on the great success your product is bringing me.
Talk to you later,
John Sapone, Jr.
Hi Don,
I just wanted to send an email to thank you for your advice and suggestions as it relates to the purchase of my heads for my engine. I was very impressed both by your knowledge and honesty in suggesting my purchase. I feel you sold me what I needed, not what you needed to sell. I really appreciate it. I'm in a similar position in the medical community acting as a clinical consultant. For me, knowledge, honesty and commitment are the ingredients to success.
You were great, and again thanks.
Sincerely,
Bob Fultano
I got your email address from the website because I did not see one for Wes. I would appreciate it if you would forward this email to him as well as Post it for the employees to see. This email is in regard to show attention to the service I recieved from Reher-Morrison.
I made several phone calls to Rehere-Morrison speaking to Wes and asking him different ways to go with my racing program. Wes gave me DIRECT advise and spoke to me frankly. I knew from talking to him after several minutes that this guy was as genuine as they come. I felt like I could trust him and after a short amount of time I was mailing in my 12 grand for my 509!
I made arrangements to pick the engine up and I arrived on time as I promised. Wes and the employees of Reher-Morrison were waiting for me. My engine was at the rear door, my paper work was in order and in a matter of minutes I had my engine loaded in my truck. Now, the guys that loaded my engine took extra time and attention not to damage the motor or my truck.
I then was given a grand tour through the facility and to say the least I was extremely impressed at the way the company was being run so smoothly. The work areas were very clean and well organized. This just reinforced the choice in Reher-Morrison I had had made!
As I shook Wes's hand to pay my sincere apprecation for his hard work he gave me a couple Reher-Morrison shirts which as you will see in the picture that I wear proudly. This may be a small token of apprecaition for some but it meant a ton to me!
I hope that someone will pass this note to Wes and the other employees of Reher-Morrison to know that there are people out here that apprecate the hard work you do. Like I told Wes, I am 100% sure you guys deal with some real "nuts" all day. As a matter of fact, I heard the constant phone calls coming in and I thought "Man, how can these guys stay so calm?" Now I wonder how I was able to telephone Wes and his attitude be so courteous and his answers so informative. What a professional guy he is!
I got the engine to the shop and it was in in several hours. After everything was checked twice over it was time to throw some fuel and spark to her. BAM!, she fired up without hesitation. We let her heat up alittle and cracked the throttle a time or two. This is when we had a little breakage!,........Yep, the building shook and with the exhaust it blew two large framed pictures off the wall and broke them into pieces! It was okay, we all just grinned!
The entire Crew of Reher-Morrison from Wes, to the engine builders, to the young man that loaded my engine I just wanted to say thank you! You guys are an asset to Reher-Morrison and should be commended on the quality of work you perform!
Sincerely,
Rodney Glendening
