Our new 14° Big Chief option for our
1,000 horsepower Super Chief is an example of how we've brought
Pro Stock technology to our Super Series big-blocks. With
raised and spread intake runners, shallow valve angles, and small
combustion chambers, our CNC-ported 14° Big Chief heads are the
closest thing to Pro Stock heads you can buy over the counter !We machine the ports and chambers in-house on our multi-axis CNC machining centers using our exclusive programs. Then our cylinder head specialists perform the final shaping, blending, and valve seat operations by hand. We take advantage of the 14° Big Chief's high-rpm performance potential with a special .510" lobe lift Super Series roller cam profile, upgraded pushrods, bushed intake lifter bores, premium three-coil valve springs, and titanium valves. You can get even more power with our optional eight-barrel intake and dry sump oiling system. If you're serious about running the fast brackets or Quick 16 programs, you need the power of a Reher-Morrison 14° Super Chief ! |
