Raptors and Nitrous, A Perfect match! These Raptors are designed with Nitrous in mind. They work great with the gas!

Hi Darin,

I am sending you a quick email to thank you for your support and cutting
edge performance parts, specifically the Raptor 12 degree heads and the
Ultimate Single Plane Intake we purchased from you. These heads make
incredible power and have unbelievable acceleration throughout the entire
RPM range. I have to tell you that this combination really comes alive on
Nitrous. I have used all types of conventional and spread port heads in the
past and nothing comes close to the Raptor Heads. I also wanted to let you
know that we have got the first 7 second, stock suspension, nitrous
powered, drag radial car. 7.87 at 181 mph! We were the #1 qualifier in our
class this weekend at the Bradenton U.S. Street Nationals. The car weighs
3450lb and is powered by a 565ci BBC built by Precision Racing Development
with your Raptor Heads and Ultimate Single Plane Intake. The car runs
9.00's at over 160mph on motor and has a 2-stage nitrous system by Applied
Nitrous Technology which propels the car to 7.87 at 181mph and all on
traction limited drag radial tires. There is still a lot left in the car as
this was our first time out to the track with the car. Thanks again to
Darin and Reher Morrison for all your help. Attached are a couple of pics
of the car and a link to our site.

SDBA and IHBA

We started drag boat racing in 1994 with SDBA, Southern Drag Boat Association and IHBA, International Drag Boat Association.  We contacted Reher-Morrison in 1999 after having numerous engine failures due to another engine builder.  We spoke to Darin Morgan and he felt he could fix our problems.  He gave us a quote and time frame, and they lived up to both.  Since that time all our engine modifications, assemblies and questions are directed to Reher-Morrison Racing Engines and Performance Parts.  The engines are completed in a Timely Manner and with Top Quality Workmanship.  The reliability of Reher-Morrison's engines has saved us a considerable amount of money, stress and time and has allowed us to set numerous new ET records.

Re: David, Bruce, Mickey & all the guys at Reher-Morrison

As I sit here in my motor home with a customer having a drink this evening and looking out through the pits at all the guys working on their race cars, It really makes me appreciate the great motors you guys put out.  70 passes on this motor this year and not one time have I had to set a valve or change a valve spring.  How could a sportsman ask for anything more!!!

CONGRATULATIONS Jimmy Didier

TOP SPORTSMAN!

Attached is a copy of the photograph for the Best Engineered award I
won out of 400 cars at the first B&M/ Hedman Header Race in Montgomery,
Alabama. You would not believe how many racers came buy to see the car and
engine. Out of the 400 cars my car was the fastest door car ( 4.79 @ 147 MPH
average, Short shifting at 7000 RPM)and was the 7th overall fastest car at
the event. Please share this with WES and I will talk with you soon.

CONGRATULATIONS  Mike and Brad Personett

TOP SPORTSMAN!

Dear David,

My compliments to Darrin Morgan and your entire Cylinder Head Department for designing and constructing the Raptor 12 degree heads.  Your advertisement, "Looking to take the Big Block Chevrolet to extreem power levels" could not have been more true.  During a "Frantic" mid season freshen, Darrin's knowledge and professionalism not only limited our down time, but has resulted in high 6 second, "motor only" passes from our Top Sportsman Firebird.  That's almost 3 tenths faster than our 14 degree Big Chief's and we're still a little fat.

Most of our recent success in NHRA Top Sportsman is due to the performance levels gained by installing the Raptor cylinder heads.  Qualifying #2 at the last 3 NHRA Division 3 events helped pave the way to a #8 finish in our first year of Top Sportsman.  Had we not missed 2 of the 7 divisional events, we may have placed significantly higher.

I can not be more pleased with the performance levels the Raptor heads have given our racing operation and would highly recommend them.

Thanks for a great product.

Sincerely,

Mike Personett
