Hi Don,
Just a short note to let you know how thrilled we are with our RM 522.
We freshened the motor after 425 passes & it only required the normal
stuff , rings bearings & gaskets. I am sending you a picture of our car
leaving the starting line @ Grandbend Motorplex in Ont. Canada. The car
weighs 3400# with driverStats stock 522 super-series engine c/w RM
vacuum pump & 1090 Demon carb massaged by Gary Williams . Best et.
9.21@145 . How's
that for RM torque & horsepower ? This is just a bracket car that has
1.28sec. 60 fts. Thanks again for building us an affordable, low
maintenance bracket engine. |

NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series…..Division 2
Gainesville, FL Feb 25, 2007
In an all Reher-Morrison final, it was a case of Barker
vs Barker in a classic father vs son showdown for all the marbles in Top
Sportsman. Perennial powerhouse and multi time champion of the tough
Division 2 Top Sportsman wars, Jerry Barker waded through his side of
the ladder to reach the money round, needing one more win to put another
notch in his belt and claim another victory. The only thing standing in
his way was his student and son, Jeffrey, who obviously had other ideas
of who would be the last man standing. As they say, the acorn doesn’t
fall far from the tree. It was a case of the pupil giving the lesson to
the teacher, as Jeffrey sawed the tree down at .017 along with a razor
thin .002 over his 7.21 dial. Jerry’s excellent .039 reaction and .007
over his 6.94 dial would only earn him the best seat in the house to
watch Jeffrey take the win light.
Jerry had this to say, “It was a fantastic day for the
Barker family. I want to thank David Reher and the team at
Reher-Morrison for giving us two great engines. The power and
consistency are remarkable. We were “dead on” all day. |

Engine School
Mr. Reher, I
wanted to let your know that the Morgan brothers represented your
company very well. The Engine school was extremely well done and
the volume of information was so much more than anyone could hope to
absorb. Both myself and Russell Fields my crew chief agree that
the only thing we ever need to remember from that school is
817-467-7171, because with that number any problem I could ever
have with one of a our engines will be taken care of. Brad was very
eager to answer any question and he would not only verbalize the answer
but demonstrate it on a real engine. What can I say about Darin you
don't already know, he made a comment about how much he works with
engineers and how they teach him so much, I would bet allot of engineers
walk away from the same meeting saying how much Darin knows and how
much they learned from him. Just over 18 months ago I purchased my
first engine from you, since then our group of racers that all let
Russell Fields maintain our cars have bought 3 more engines. After this
weekend I know that number will only grow, we were fateful believers on
Friday by Monday we had become evangelists for Reher & Morrison. You
build'm well race'm and both of us will always be winners.
Keep
up the standards in the end all you have is your word, keep hiring great
people like Brad and Darin, if they are typical of your company you are
truly blessed. Thanks for all the fun and get a 622 ready we will need
it in about 3 months, tell Brad it will need to be special and tell Wes
we still love him too.
Respectfully

TOP DRAGSTER NUMBER ONE QUALIFIER
NHRA DIVISION 4 RED RIVER RACEWAY
Mike Kile drove his Miller Race Cars dragster to the number 1
qualifying position in Top Dragster at the recently completed NHRA
Division 4 race at Red River Raceway near Shreveport, LA. Mike ran a
6.85 @ 198mph in the hot and humid conditions. Mike’s choice for power
is the awesome Reher-Morrison Super Series 665 cubic inch All Aluminum
BBC, which makes a brute like 1,350 hp and over 1,000 ft lbs of torque,
NORMALLY ASPIRATED!
Mike’s 2,000 lb dragster was number one in a field of more than 40
cars, some of which were supercharged or nitrous oxide injected. On race
day, he even improved to a 6.82. Although he did not win the event, he
has served notice to everyone that his next win will be soon! |

Mr. Reher.
I know you probably get a lot of junk E-mail but I was
hoping you would take a few moments out of your busy day to read my
story.
I would like to first take this opportunity to thank
you for the consistent and reliable engine your company supplied for my
racing operation in 2006. As Wes can tell you I ordered my second
engine from your company, a 555” Super Series engine, on Monday, May 8
of this year. As luck would be with me that week, you already had this
engine in stock with dyno time. I wished to upgrade to the aluminum pan
so shipment was delayed until the following day. I received the engine
to my Indiana address on that same Friday. In a rush to make the first
“quick” race of the season, I installed my Ron’s Terminator and the car
was running before bedtime. To make a long story not quite so long,
approximately 5 days after this engine was ordered it was in an NHRA
winner’s circle. In a 1920 pound dragster with driver, this engine
unloaded in the high 4.60’s at over 146 MPH and was deadly consistent in
the victory.
The Reher-Morrison 555” Super Series went on to see
six more wins in the 2006
season and the culmination was a clinching of the NHRA North Central
Division Super Quick championship at Indy in early October. If you were
wondering the engine after 200 passes was still running high 4.60’s and
the only maintenance required throughout the season was periodic oil
changes and valve lash “checks”. To attest to the reliability, two of
the wins were in the same night at Bunker Hill Dragway. That specific
night, I won 13 straight rounds and took home both the Super Quick and
Super Pro wins.
I believe my story is a testament to the quality and
reliability of Reher-Morrison Racing Engines. From the timely shipment
to the great performance all the way up to the great resale value at the
end. How could anyone go anywhere else for their engines? I certainly
won’t. That being said, I have sold the 555” Super Series and my new
565” Hot Rod has already been delivered that will be installed in next
year’s car. I wanted a few custom additions to this engine but it still
was built and shipped in less than one week, imagine that.
I highly recommend Reher-Morrison to all of my
customers and will use your engines for many years to come, without a
doubt. The 565” Hot Rod was actually the third engine purchased in the
last 10 months. The two previous were both sold to my Ron’s customers
and they are quite pleased to this day. I have attached a couple photos
of the 2005 car and if I haven’t wore out my welcome please take a few
more moments and visit my website

Thanks again!

Dear David, My
brother in-law Dana MacLeod driver/owner of TS302 and
the crew at fastechracing.com want to share our success
with you and your team of professionals at RMRE. On
September 8, 2006 we attended the IHRA North American
Nationals at Epping, our home track and with a string of
6.80’s took the WIN! This wouldn’t have been possible
without the consistent, reliable, raw horse-power that
our Reher-Morrison/SpeedTech 572 produces. As the crew
chief of a Top Sportsman car it’s an unbelievable
feeling to know that whatever I dialed the car would run
on the money. During the 6 rounds leading up to the
finals we were always the quicker and faster car so
leaving last was never a worry for Dana because he knew
we had the bullet to run down the competition and the
final round was no exception 6.89 @ 205.22.
David, I can’t say
enough good things about our Reher-Morrison/SpeedTech
572 engine program. You and your staff have always taken
a personal interest when I’ve called with questions and
I would be remiss if I didn’t mention Brandon Switzer
from SpeedTech Nitrous who’s put together a winning
nitrous solution. Contrary to most people’s belief you
can have a reliable, consistent nitrous assisted engine
program with deadly results. You once told me that
everyone wants too build a better “mouse trap” and I
haven’t seen another 572 like ours that’s qualified
every race this year in the top 10 against 700 plus inch
engines.
Thanks for a great
engine and we’ll see you in the off season.
Yours truly,
Barry D. Cocuzzo

To Mr. Don Cooper

Our season in Finland was completed in Alastaro
Dragway last weekend. I managed to take
national title again. It was second in a row
and fourth with your 565 Big Chief engine. I
am very satisfied with it. I have been using
it for seven seasons now. We have one more
race in Malmö Sweden. It is a final race for
NDRS series. At this moment I am in second
place for Nordic Championship.
09-22-06
I managed to take NDRS championship also.
I met the points leader in round one and
went all the way.
Winning the
final in Sweden was something else...

Mark, Wes & Dave,
This letter is long overdue. This is the second
engine I've purchased from you within a year and I just
can't say enough about the performance of your motors! I
recently purchased a 565 hot rod motor and it is more
than I expected. The engine performs flawlessly. My wife
and I have run this motor in bad air, 90 degree
temperatures, and an altitude of 3,300 feet running
consistent 7.20's at 185.
I would like to thank
Dave Reher for employing the
finest
staff members. Mark in sales is a pleasure to deal with
! He really goes above and beyond his duties by
following up with phone calls to check on how I'm doing.
When I was looking to build my first engine, I spoke to
Mark and told him exactly what I wanted to accomplish.
He told me EXACTLY what I needed and that's why I'm back
again. It was everything I had hoped for--and more! I'd
like to thank Wes for helping me tune the injection on
my car. He always has me going in the right direction.
And to Sean for building such an outstanding engine!!
It's great to deal with a company that sells you just
what you need and not all the little extras. What they
promise, they deliver!
These are not your ordinary engine builders. They
take time with you, work with you, and help you in any
way they can. Feel confident when buying from
Reher-Morrison--I know I do!!

To all the folks at Reher and Morrison, Thanks for the
straight talk and good advice I received as a NEW
customer. I had to put a new motor together on short
notice and Wes was especially helpful in guiding me
towards the HR 565 short block.? In only two weeks I was
doing the assembly. I couldn't help but notice the
impeccable machine work and meticulous detail given to
all the top notch components.?
We went to the NHRA track at Route 66 in Joliet on
July 23, 2006, and won the event first time out! My 95
Grand Prix (2350 lbs.) with Dart 355 CNC heads ran 8.15,
166 mph, 1.12 60ft. on the first pass. The power and
ability to rev quicker than my old 565 was obvious.?
My full pass time slips didn't vary more than .02 all
day, and I carry that much anyway.? I had 3 .00
reactions in the process. Now that's fun racing!
Just thought I would send a picture with the big smiles.
My Nephew and Crew Chief Anthony (to my left) knows
where to buy his first motor!
Thanks Again

Wes Henington
Reher-Morrison Racing Engines
Wes,
Just a few words of thanks from a very satisfied
customer.
In January 2006, I purchased a Super Series 572 with the
Raptor heads (unassembled) from carb to pan. My husband
assembled the engine, which enabled me to save a few
dollars, and allowed me to purchase the engine within my
budget.
To say the least, I’m more than satisfied with its
performance. So far, the best ET is 7.05 at 191.35 in my
Dan Page 1860lb. 4-link dragster. Recently, in very hot
air, it still hauled the mail with a 7.10 at 190. I’m
impressed and so are my fellow racers.
From the first phone call to you and later to Darin
Morgan, I was not rushed off the phone but was treated
with professionalism and courtesy. Some questions came
up after the sale, during the assembly, and again all
calls were answered immediately.
Since the initial start-up in the garage to the first
race I’ve never had one problem. It started right up at
the first hit of the ignition. Thirty-five runs later,
the valve lash is still perfect and the valve springs
are maintaining pressure. Everything that R&M promised
was delivered. I love it when I get what I ordered!
I know many customers buy their Reher-Morrison engine
completely assembled but I’m very glad I chose to
purchase it unassembled. Given the opportunity to
examine each component and all the intricate machining,
you truly get to appreciate the expert workmanship and
quality that makes these engines run so fast. After
seeing the bare block and components, I truly felt I got
what I paid for and more.
I also would like to suggest to any future customers
contemplating purchasing a Reher-Morrison engine, listen
to what they recommend. They really have the knowledge!
You cannot put a value on Research and Development!
Please communicate this note to everyone in the shop
and office that never receive the thanks they so deserve
for all their hard work and contributions to an awesome
and quality product!
Thank you,

Hi David and Bruce
I attended the IHRA divisional race April 8 and 9
in Lufkin TX. Although I had a bad race on Saturday with
a red light loss in round one. I got it all together on
Sunday and won Top Dragster after qualifying with a 7.25
@ 184.80! Other racers just stare at the engine in
disbelief when they see the conventional style heads and
also learn that it’s only a 565. Of the five round race,
all of my opponents had Big Chief style spread port
heads. Believe or not, I had to spot everyone except one
which was a heads up race! The track went away
significantly towards the end of the day and the car was
rattling the tires pretty hard. Under these conditions,
it definitely makes it easier when you are leaving last
with a quicker car in order to hold a couple of
hundredths as far as the “dial in” goes to make sure you
can run the number. It is much easier to roll up on them
(at 185mph) and judge the finish line versus having to
turn around to find your opponent. Thanks for a great
motor!

Wes,
I had to write you and tell you that the 412 Super Series you helped me
pick does exactly what you said it would. The car runs a 6.00 in the
1/8 every time, the little motor runs perfect and we have yet to do
anything to it. I keep checking the valves ready to do my first
adjustment, not yet. The 412 was the perfect engine to start with,
looking to upgrade next year and yes it will be a Reher & Morrison, my
car would reject anything else. We looked at a lot of engine builders,
your professionalism and knowledge sold me, the tour of the shop was
just icing on the cake. I wanted a reliable bracket engine to run this
year without any problems, that's what I got. Now I can learn how to
drive without wrenching on the motor all the time.
Here is a picture, 1993 Grand AM, (everyone thinks it's a big block,

Good Morning Don, I got your email address from the website
because I did not see one for Wes. I would appreciate it if you
would forward this email to him as well as Post it for the
employees to see. This email is in regard to show attention to
the
service I received from Reher-Morrison.
I made several phone calls to Reher-Morrison speaking to Wes and
asking him different ways to go with my racing program. Wes
gave me DIRECT advise and spoke to me frankly. I knew from
talking to him after several minutes that this guy was as
genuine as they come. I felt like I could trust him and after a
short amount of time I was mailing in my 12 grand for my 509!
I made arrangements to pick the engine up and I arrived on time
as I promised. Wes and the employees of Reher-Morrison were
waiting for me. My engine was at the rear door, my paper work
was in order and in a matter of minutes I had my engine loaded
in my truck. Now, the guys that loaded my engine took extra
time and attention not to damage the motor or my truck.
I then was given a grand tour through the facility and to say
the least I was extremely impressed at the way the company was
being run so smoothly. The work areas were very clean and well
organized. This just reinforced the choice in Reher-Morrison I
had had made!
As I shook Wes's hand to pay my sincere appreciation for his
hard work he gave me a couple Reher-Morrison shirts which as you
will see in the picture that I wear proudly.
This may be a small token of appreciation for some but it meant
a ton to me!
I hope that someone will pass this note to Wes and the
other employees of Reher-Morrison to know that there are people
out here that appreciate the hard work you do. Like I told Wes,
I am 100% sure you guys deal with some real "nuts" all day. As
a matter of fact, I heard the constant phone calls coming in and
I thought "Man, how can these guys stay so calm?" Now I wonder
how I was able to telephone Wes and his attitude be so courteous
and his answers so informative. What a professional guy he is!
I got the engine to the shop and it was in in several hours.
After everything was checked twice over it was time to throw
some fuel and spark to her. BAM!, she fired up without
hesitation. We let her heat up a little and cracked the
throttle a time or two. This is when we had a little
breakage!,........Yep, the building shook and with the exhaust
it blew two large framed pictures off the wall and broke them
into pieces! It was okay, we all just grinned!
The entire Crew of Reher-Morrison from Wes, to the engine
builders, to the young man that loaded my engine I just wanted
to say thank you! You guys are an asset to Reher-Morrison and
should be commended on the quality of work you perform!
Sincerely,
Rodney Glendening
a LOYAL customer!

Dear
David,
January. 3.2006 We
have one of your 565 Super Series Engines in our FOXWOODS RESORT/CASINO
2003 Jerry Haas built Pontiac Grand AM. I just wanted to write to let
you know how happy we've been with one of your engines. On our very
first pass we ran a 7.69 @ 179.70.
I recently shipped the
engine back to you for a freshening up. It was still running excellent
but with nearly 130 runs on it I figured we should check it out. We ran
a best of 7.62 @ 180.00 with only a 7200 shift chip. During the time
that we've run this engine, we seldom had to adjust the valves when we
checked them.
I met your employee
Mickey Ansley back in 1994 when I attended Roy Hill's Drag Racing
School. He was a big part of me earning my Pro Stock License. When I
heard he was working for REHER-MORRISON I called him and purchased the
engine. I want to Thank Mickey and Everyone at REHER-MORRISON for a
great product.
Thanks Again,

Hi! Don, I bought a 555 short block and then I purchased the top end
combo later in 2003. I also purchased a converter to fit my TH400. The
Chevelle is an all steel body with full interior. I am running in
a street class with 10.5" tires in Denmark. The Chevelle is a heavy 3800
pounds with a best ET of 5.82 in the 1/8 mile. It's a single 4 barrel
engine and I run a NOS Big Shot of about 150 HP.

Hi Darin,
I have a 406 that you built last fall. Larry Eidson sold the motor to
Mark Ellis and he and I traded. The 406 has 260 runs on it all but 9
were 1/8 mile in a dragster. We have ran Mobil 1 in it and changed it
every 20-30 runs. The oil had a lot of silver in it the first few times
and now has very little if any. I run a quart of Lucas with the oil and
the oil looks pretty good with a little stuck on the drain magnet. I run
the valves every other weekend about 15 runs and they have been fine.
The thing is running better all the time and I was wondering what if
anything I needed to look at this winter. Best run to date was 5.14 at
132 at Wichita Falls it ran 8.23 at 163 at Ennis at the Bracket finals.
This is in a 1600 lb dragster, driver included. I took a 427 BBC
out and since then run half a second faster in the 1/8. I have
been to the finals 8 out of 9 trips to the track. When people ask me
how, I blame the motor. I used to think that the price of
your motors was too high, but my next motor WILL be a Reher-Morrison
even if I have to borrow the money. Thanks for building such a good
piece of equipment. Let me know what I need to look at this winter.
Thanks!

Subject: End of Season Update
Good morning all,
Another exiting racing season has ended.
Going into the last divisional race this past weekend in Las Vegas there
were a couple of drivers that had a mathematical chance of knocking us

Dear David,
After winning seven Divisional Top Sportsman
events in the last three years, and now winning the NHRA Southeast
Division 2 Top Sportsman Championship for 2005, I thought it was time to
thank you and your staff again for the quality Racing Engines that you
build. There is not a better engine to run fast and consistent
than your 622. I always qualify in the top half of the field, and most
times in the top eight.
The best features of your engines are that they
are powerful, reliable, and consistent. Other than normal maintenance,
oil and filter changes and checking the valves, there’s nothing to do
but race them. We currently are running two of your 622’s, one of which
has in excess of 250 passes and we have never broken not even one valve
spring on it!
This past weekend, I had the pleasure of running
my new Reher-Morrison Racing Engines 747 that you developed for me this
year. In my new RJ Race Cars ’06 Cobalt, the 747 went 6.956 @ 199.55 in
2,000 ft. air! And that was with a powerglide transmission. I am
thoroughly pleased again with you and your staff especially Mickey,
Mark, Wes and Bobby. The individual technical support if needed is a
great benefit that your company offers.
I would highly recommend to anyone who wants a
reliable, consistent, predictable, low maintenance and above all,
“fast” race engine to call Reher-Morrison Racing Engines.
Thank You
Jerry Barker

I
wanted to let you all know how happy I am with my 555 super series engine
I purchased last winter. It performed beyond my expectations in power,
reliability and consistency. I think I had to open my tool box one time at
the track this year and it had nothing to do with the engine! I was able
to win a couple of bracket races this year in top eliminator/super pro. I
also took home some money in 2 quick 8 door car races this year. Wes has
been a pleasure to talk to and his knowledge in drag racing has kept me on
the right track. Thank you for sharing your research and development with
me for such a reasonable price. Here is a photo of our 2000 Mayfield Camaro.

Attention: Johnnie
I probably made the most common mistake a racer
makes when it comes to building big horsepower in Super Class Racing,
thinking I could save money by buying a part here and one there. When I was done I had an expensive motor that did not perform
to my expectations. I
contacted Wes at Reher-Morrison and purchased a 14º Big Chief
conversion kit at the end of 2002.
Wes gave me all the information and specs for assembling the
motor. It performs beyond
my wildest dreams. In
Division 7 in Super Comp my MPH is in the top 1%. It worked so well, my brother purchased the same conversion
kit and I will be getting together with Wes for an engine for my
son’s car.

We started drag boat racing in 1994 with SDBA, Southern Drag Boat
Association and IHBA, International Drag Boat Association. We
contacted Reher-Morrison in 1999 after having numerous engine failures due
to another engine builder. We spoke to Darin Morgan and he felt he
could fix our problems. He gave us a quote and time frame, and they
lived up to both. Since that time all our engine modifications,
assemblies and questions are directed to Reher-Morrison Racing Engines and
Performance Parts. The engines are completed in a Timely Manner and
with Top Quality Workmanship. The reliability of Reher-Morrison's
engines has saved us a considerable amount of money, stress and time and
has allowed us to set numerous new ET records.

Per request of David Bunn, I am enclosing a
composite shot of David’s Chevelle that I shot at Piedmont Dragway
recently. On this run,
with no adjustment of shocks, the car went into a bumper-dragging
wheel stand. Fortunately, with no damage.
The best shot of the day ended up being a 5.89
@ 119 MPH, based on 3400 lbs weight, 1.29 60’ time and altitude
adjustment at 3400ft. This
was achieved with an old set of Hooker Super Comp 2” headers.
New ones are not finished.
He also achieved this with no trans brake.
We look forward to our next race, a combination

Many thanks!

the event. Please share this with WES and I will talk with you soon.

I would like to thank
you, Wes and Johnny for all the R-M horsepower. My 522 Super
Series motor installed in my 72 Vega has produced an E.T. best of
8.82 @153.77 mph w/60' times of 1.27. Not bad for a back
halfed car with stock front Vega suspension. The beauty of the
Super Series motors are reliable, consistency and low maintenance.
Between rounds, I let the water pump and electric fan run for 5-6
minutes, check the fuel and I am ready for the next round.
Thanks again, this is the way to race, go fast and have fun.

Dear David,
Just wanted to drop you a note to inform you of the
recent success with my Super Gas car at Indy, due in large part to
the RM 565 Big Chief motor and David Tatum's driving skills. As a city boy with a desk job who can not get to the track nearly as
much as he would like, I could not have made a better choice than
Reher-Morrison for a motor when I decided to 'go racin' after
a twenty year break. The motor has been consistently powerful
and dependable pass after pass. Technical help from Wes and
Mickey has also been helpful.
Thanks again for a quality product.

| Wes,
I have enclosed photos of my car and time slips from my first 2
weekends out. As you can see, my new Reher-Morrison 555 has
performed quite well. When I ordered my motor, you stated that it
should run in the 7.40's and maybe the 7.30's.
My first run was on the opening weekend at Woodburn Dragstrip and
the track was less than ideal. The car spun the tires and I had to
pedal it. It ran 7.521 at 179.64. On the second attempt we lowered
the pressure and tried the right lane. The car hooked up and ran
7.324 at 181.30. The next run was 7.323 at 181.78.
The car is very consistent. In my first 7 full passes, my ET's
have been from 7.31 to 7.35.
I have been launching the car at 4200 RPM and shifting at 6800.
There are obviously lower ET's in my future.
Thank you for all your help with choosing the right converter and
other components to make my car faster than I expected.

I just wanted to take the time and thank you for your time and
advice during the year. I cannot express into words how pleased I am
with my 555 engine. The 555 has been very low maintenance, and at
the same time, added so much mor power and consistency to our super
gas racing operation. In super gas trim, the vehicle has been able
to obtain nearly 166 miles per hour sea level and 158+ miles per
hour in high dester altitude (Palmdale.) I cannot stress how many
people have been impressed with the numbers our car has and will
continue to put on a time slip. So, in closing, I once again wanted
to thank you both. I look forward to doing business in the future.

| Dear David,
My compliments to Darrin Morgan and your entire Cylinder Head
Department for designing and constructing the Raptor 12 degree
heads. Your advertisement, "Looking to take the Big Block
Chevrolet to extreem power levels" could not have been more
true. During a "Frantic" mid season freshen,
Darrin's knowledge and professionalism not only limited our down
time, but has resulted in high 6 second, "motor only"
passes from our Top Sportsman Firebird. That's almost 3 tenths
faster than our 14 degree Big Chief's and we're still a little fat.
Most of our recent success in NHRA Top Sportsman is due to the
performance levels gained by installing the Raptor cylinder
heads. Qualifying #2 at the last 3 NHRA Division 3 events
helped pave the way to a #8 finish in our first year of Top
Sportsman. Had we not missed 2 of the 7 divisional events, we
may have placed significantly higher.
I can not be more pleased with the performance levels the Raptor
heads have given our racing operation and would highly recommend
them.
Thanks for a great product.

I am writing to you for two reasons. The first is to
thank the Reher-Morrison organization for beginning a race school, and secondly,
is to inform anyone who has the opportunity to attend one of these classes to do
so. They will not be sorry. Their love of racing becomes obvious as soon as
class begins. Their energetic personality and personal experiences will hold
your attention for hours. The knowledge of all personnel was overwhelming thus
greatly appreciated. Being able to "get answers" for questions that
have been in your mind for some time was beneficial. I learned more in the first
hour than I learned in entire seminars/programs that I previously
attended.
Working with Darin on finding out what makes cylinder
heads flow best, how to make the most horsepower and torque for any combination
was essential. The environment at the Reher-Morrison facility is one goal and
one goal only, to make that engine succeed and produce a winner! Every student
will walk away from the Reher-Morrison school with a better understanding of
their own abilities realizing the quality of training provided by this
organization. This school is nothing like I expected. By far more exciting than
I have ever experienced. This is a lifetime experience that everyone should be
able to be a part of. The Reher-Morrison entire organization is very dedicated
to helping students succeed!
The race school provides a professional and focused
team of instructors. This organization shares their knowledge and experience
openly to anyone who attends the class. They will answer all questions honestly
and are willing to help all racers, even those they will be racing against!!. If
you ever have the chance to attend this school, I guarantee it will help improve
your outlook on racing and it will be an experience you will never forget.

thing I have done for my interest in cylinder head modification.
Darin, I want to personally thank you for all you have done for me, and
believe me, it was a lot!

Hi Don, My father recently purchased a
Super Chief 565 from you for our 2000 Camaro Super Gas Car. The car
was built by Dan Page Race Cars, weighs 2480 lbs., has a 4.10 rear gear, a
1.76 Powerglide and 17 x 33 rear tires. We've only been to
the track three times so far thanks to a winter unfavorable to racers here
in the Northeast. Our first outing was at the NHRA National
Open. We qualified #5 in Super Gas with a 9.905 @ 167 Miles per hour
(Top Speed of the Event). We were able to run the car flat out for one
pass which was a 7.95 @ 171.06 with a 1.145 60' and 5.12 @ 137 in the
1/8th. At the IHRA National event in Virginia, we set top
speed again with a 165 mile per hour qualifying lap. Unfortunately,
a .399 red light second round ended our weekend early. Last
weekend we were able to test at New England Dragway in New
Hampshire. Having swapped converters to take advantage of our new
horsepower, the car ran 7.821 @ 175.09 with a 1.144 60'. We then put
the car on the throttle stop and ran 9.901 @ 168 Miles Per Hour! Thanks
for the new power! It was very nice to be able to put the new engine
in the car with no worries. Look for us in the winner's circle soon! Thanks UPDATE:
July 9, 2001 Well, things are going better since the last
update as we now have three wins with our 2000 Camaro with the 565 Super
Chief Reher-Morrison power. The first win (and our first
with the car) came in front of a packed house at New England Dragway as we
beat up on all the dragsters with our 2000 Camaro and took the Dan Page
Race Cars Quick Rod (8.90) Series win. Not only did we win, but we
chased every dragster we ran against. It's great seeing a doorcar
run 8.90 @ 170 Miles Per Hour. The second win of the season
came at the NHRA Atco Raceway National Open in Super Gas. Ray
stormed through 6 tough rounds of competition to take his first ever Super
Gas win. That win put him in 3rd place in the Division 1 National
Open points standings. Not too bad, considering he didn't attend the
first race. Last weekend at the Division 1 Federal Mogul
Drag Racing Series event held at Lebanon Valley Dragway, Ray fought off
the competition for 7 tough rounds and walked away with the Super Gas win
and his first every "Wally!" We were the fastest Super Gas
car on the property, running 9.90 at 166 Miles per hour at a track that
has a physical elevation of 1100 feet and a density altitude of an
additional 2000 feet. Thanks again for the dependable power
that has put us in the winner's circle. Later!

Dear David,
I am sure you hear all the bad experiences that drag
racers have during the course of a racing season. This letter is to
thank you and your great staff at RMRE for the fantastic engines and
advice that you are so willing to provide low budget racers as well as
professional teams. When I installed your "Super Chief
565" in my '96 firebird I anticipated to run 7.70 or close to
that. My pocket calculator said that at 2280 pounds and 1000
horsepower 7.70 would be the best I could do. I have enclosed my
time tickets from Virginia Motorsports Park and must say I was pleasantly
surprised to run two 7.51's, one 7.49 and a best of 7.476. The 1.059
sixty foot time was not too shabby either, considering the use of a
powerglide and a 4.30 rear axle ratio. My best calculations say that
your "Super Chief 565" is putting 1100 horsepower to the rear
wheels when you only advertise 1000 horsepower at the flywheel. I
would like to thank Bruce Allen for all his help and advice when I know he
is a busy man but will still take time to return phone calls to Richmond
Va. and help in any way he can. My car number is 50 and I ran the
right lane each time. Again thanks for your professional approach to
drag racers whether veteran or beginner.
Sincerely,
Roger C. Smith

I am the very proud owner of 2 of your Super Series 555
engines for my cars. I couldn't be happier with the outstanding
quality of the engines, your excellent customer support and everyone at
Reher-Morrison's desire to be the best. I am looking forward to even
more success this season with your engines as the backbone of our
team. Keep up the GREAT WORK! Special Thanks to Wes for always
being extremely helpful and a jot to work with.
